A TENNESSEE PROBATION/PAROLE OFFICER IN HAWKINS COUNTY IS FINDING HERSELF ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE LAW. ACCORDING TO THE KINGSPORT TIMES NEWS, 36 YEAR OLD JULIE TRENT IS CHARGED WITH MANUFACTURING MARIJUANA, VIOLATION OF THE DRUG CONTROL ACT AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. AN OFFICER WHO WAS ATTEMPTING TO SERVE COURT PAPERS ALLEGEDLY SPOTTED THE ILLEGAL WEED GROWING ON HER FRONT PORCH. SHERIFF ROGER CHRISTIAN SAID A SEARCH OF HER HOME ALLEGEDLY REVEALED A SMALL AMOUNT OF MARIJUANA, SEVERAL UNKNOWN PILLS AND AN UNSPECIFIED NUMBER OF METAL AND GLASS PIPES. 47 YEAR OLD DENNIS DEBORDE, WHO WAS LISTED AS A RESIDENT OF THE TRENT HOME, IS FACING THE SAME CHARGES. BOTH ARE SET TO BE ARRAIGNED IN HAWKINS COUNTY GENERAL SESSIONS COURT ON MONDAY.
