A BRISTOL DOCTOR WHO PLED GUILTY TO CHARGES FROM A NOVEMBER 2006 CRASH AND POLICE PURSUIT IS NOW APPEALING HIS PRISON SENTENCE. 55 YEAR OLD MATTHEW GANGWER PLED GUILTY TO DUI, FELONY RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT, LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT WITH PROPERTY DAMAGE, EVADING ARREST, THREE COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AND TWO COUNTS OF VANDALISM OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS. HE WAS ARRESTED AFTER RAMMING INTO BLUFF CITY AND BRISTOL POLICE CRUISERS DURING AN ATTEMPT TO FLEE IN NOVEMBER 2006. HE’S APPEALING A SENTENCE OF SIX MONTHS IN PRISON AND SIX YEARS OF PROBATION.
