Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will visit the southwest Virginia town of Lebanon tomorrow in his fourth campaign trip to the state since he clinched the nomination in June. Obama will lead a town hall meeting at Lebanon High School. The rural community once relied on farming and mining but has recently benefited from high-technology companies moving in. It was also highlighted in former Gov. Mark Warner’s keynote address to the Democratic National Convention last month. Obama is returning to far southwest Virginia for the first time since June, when Bristol was his first campaign stop after he got enough delegate support for the nomination. The doors will open for tomorrow’s event at 3:15 with the town hall meeting set to get underway at 5:15 in the Lebanon High School Gym.
