TWO JOHNSON CITY WOMEN ARE RECOVERING FROM INJURIES SUSTAINED WHEN THEY WERE ATTACKED BY TWO DOGS. ACCORDING TO POLICE, 50 YEAR OLD BARBARA LONDON HAD ENTERED AN OPEN GATE AND WAS WALKING TO THE FRONT DOOR OF 41 YEAR OLD ANGELA DAVIS’ HOME ON HAMILTON STREET WHEN SHE WAS ATTACKED BY A FEMALE PIT BULL AND A MALE BLUE HEELER MIX. DAVIS CAME OUTSIDE AND WAS TRYING TO STOP THE ATTACK WHEN THE DOGS TURNED ON HER. BOTH WOMEN WERE TAKEN TO JOHNSON CITY MEDICAL CENTER. LONDON REMAINS HOSPITALIZED AND IS LISTED IN GOOD CONDITION. DAVIS WAS TREATED FOR MINOR INJURIES AND RELEASED. THE PIT BULL REMAINS LOCKED UP FOR OBSERVATION WHILE THE BLUE HEELER MIX WAS EUTHENIZED.
