A MAN ACCUSED OF ROBBING TWO JOHNSON CITY BUSINESSES IS BEHIND BARS. 28 YEAR OLD JOSHUA SUTHERLAND OF JONESBOROUGH IS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS EACH OF ROBBERY AND THEFT UNDER 500-HUNDRED DOLLARS. HE’S ACCUSED OF HOLDING UP TCBY ON WEST MARKET STREET TUESDAY AND THEN ROBBING KEVA JUICE ON NORTH ROAN STREET WEDNESDAY. IN BOTH CASES THE SUSPECT MATCHED THE SAME DESCRIPTION AND APOLOGIZED STATING HE’D REPAY THE BUSINESSES. AN ANONYMOUS TIP LED TO SUTHERLAND’S ARREST. HE’S CURRENTLY BEING HELD IN THE WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE DETENTION CENTER ON 102-THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND AND WILL BE ARRAIGNED IN GENERAL SESSIONS COURT NEXT WEEK.
