A wildfire in Cocke County Tennessee near the North Carolina border continues to grow as rain moves into the mountains. The blaze is located on Rocky Top Mountain and has consumed over 1,600 acres. The U.S. Forest Service is reporting it is 35 percent contained. Forest Service spokeswoman Sharon Moore said the smell of smoke is evident in Newport, which is the county seat. More rain is expected over the next several days which will help the fire situation.
