ALTHOUGH THE NUMBERS OF WORKERS HOLDING DOWN A JOB IN THE NATIONAL ECONOMY IS FLAT, THE TRI CITIES REGION ACTUALLY SAW A SLIGHT LOSS OF JOBS IN THE SECOND QUARTER OF THIS YEAR. ACCORDING TO THE LATEST TRI CITIES LABOR MARKET REPORT, EMPLOYMENT FELL BY TWO-TENTHS OF A PERCENT, WHICH TRANSLATED INTO THE LOSS OF 518 JOBS COMPARED TO THE SAME PERIOD LAST YEAR.
