TWO FEDERAL AGENTS ACCUSED OF POSING AS LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS IN CHURCH HILL EARLIER THIS WEEK WILL NOT FACE CHARGES. THE TWO FEDERAL COMMUNICATION COMMISSION AGENTS HAD BEEN ASKED TO INVESTIGATE SOMEONE KEYING OVER RADIO TRANSMISSIONS IN MOUNT CARMEL BETWEEN POLICE AND HAWKINS COUNTY CENTRAL DISPATCH. DURING THEIR JUNE 10TH INVESTIGATION, THEY HAD IDENTIFIED THEMSELVES AS MEMBERS OF THE TBI WHEN THEY WERE STOPPED BY POLICE IN CHURCH HILL. POLICE CHIEF MARK JOHNSON SAID HE OPTED NOT TO CHARGE THE AGENTS BASED ON THE WISHES OF THE TBI.
