TWO FEDERAL AGENTS WHO POSED AS POLICE OFFICERS IN CHURCH HILL DURING AN UNDERCOVER OPERATION COULD FACE CHARGES. THE TWO MEN WITH THE FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION WERE IN CHURCH HILL JUNE 10TH INVESTIGATING COMPLAINTS MADE BY THE MOUNT CARMEL POLICE DEPARTMENT THAT SOMEONE WAS CONTINUALLY KEYING OVER RADIO TRANSMISSIONS MADE BETWEEN POLICE OFFICERS AND HAWKINS COUNTY CENTRAL DISPATCH. THE TWO AGENTS ALLEGEDLY DECIDED TO POSE AS MEMBERS OF THE TENNESSEE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION METH TASK FORCE. NOW, THEY COULD BE CHARGED WITH IMPERSONATING POLICE OFFICERS. WARRANTS HAVE BEEN WRITTEN, BUT NOT YET SERVED.
