THE FALL BRANCH VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS RECEIVED AN OVER 260-THOUSAND DOLLAR GRANT THROUGH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY. THE MUCH NEEDED FUNDS WILL GO TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF A NEW VEHICLE. REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN DAVID DAVIS WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN SECURING THE MONEY. HE SAID THIS WILL HELD THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BETTER SERVE THE EMERGENCY NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY.
