A JOHNSON CITY MAN ACCUSED OF STABBING ANOTHER MAN WILL BE ARRAIGNED TODAY IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE GENERAL SESSIONS COURT. 56 YEAR OLD MELVIN MOORE IS CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT. HE’S ACCUSED OF STABBING AN UNNAMED MAN AT A HOME ON HIGHLAND AVENUE YESTERDAY. THE TWO MEN HAD ALLEGEDLY GOTTEN INTO AN ARGUMENT OVER MONEY USED TO BUY BEER WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED. THE VICTIM SUFFERED TWO SIX INCH CUTS TO HIS ABDOMEN AND WAS TAKEN TO JOHNSON CITY MEDICAL CENTER FOR TREATMENT. MOORE IS CURRENTLY BEING HELD ON A 25-THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND.
