AFTER BEING TAKEN INTO CUSTODY, WASHINGTON COUNTY DEPUTIES FOUND OVER ONE HALF OUNCE OF CRYSTAL METHAMPHETAMINE. THE METH IS VALUED AT 17-HUNDRED DOLLARS. A SEARCH OF BARNETT’S HOME REVEALED DIGITAL SCALES, BAGGIES, AND OTHER PARAPHERNALIA USED IN THE PACKAGING AND DISTRIBUTION OF ILLEGAL DRUGS. HE’S BEEN CHARGED WITH DRIVING LEFT OF CENTER, FOURTH OFFENSE DRIVING ON A REVOKED LICENSE, VIOLATION OF HABITUAL MOTOR OFFENDER RESTRICTION, POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE TWO DRUGS FOR RESALE, AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. BARNETT IS ALSO WANTED OUT OF CARTER COUNTY FOR VIOLATION OF PROBATION. BOND FOR BARNETT WAS SET AT 17-THOUSAND DOLLARS. HE WILL APPEAR IN WASHINGTON COUNTY GENERAL SESSIONS COURT.
