A JOHNSON CITY MAN ACCUSED OF STABBING ANOTHER MAN HAS HAD HIS CASE BOUND OVER TO A WASHINGTON COUNTY GRAND JURY. 19 YEAR OLD MITCHELL CALL IS CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AFTER POLICE SAY HE ALLEGEDLY STABBED 20 YEAR OLD JEFFREY SCALF IN THE CHEST. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED IN THE CHERRY STREET PARKING LOT. SCALF WAS WITH SEVERAL OTHER MEN AND ALLEGEDLY YELLED AT CALL’S GIRLFRIEND. CALL CLAIMS HE FELT THREATENED, AND WAS ACTING IN SELF DEFENSE. A GRAND JURY WILL CONVENE ON THE MATTER ON AUGUST 16TH.
