AN OHIO WOMAN ACCUSED IN THE STABBING DEATH OF HER BOYFRIEND IN LEE COUNTY VIRGINIA HAS BEEN ARRAIGNED. 25 YEAR OLD AMBER NASH IS CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE MURDER IN THE KILLING OF 25 YEAR OLD MICHAEL MEEKER. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED FRIDAY AT A HOME IN THE DOT COMMUNITY. THE COUPLE HAD ALLEGEDLY BEEN ARGUING ALL DAY PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT. MEEKER HAD BEEN CELEBRATING HIS 25TH BIRTHDAY WITH HIS FAMILY WHEN THE INCIDENT TOOK PLACE. DURING NASH’S APPEARANCE IN LEE COUNTY GENERAL DISTRICT COURT, A JUDGE SET HER PRELIMINARY HEARING DATE FOR AUGUST 27TH. NASH REMAINS HELD WITHOUT BOND IN THE SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA REGIONAL JAIL AT DUFFIELD.
