A SULLIVAN COUNTY JURY HAS FOUND A JOHNSON CITY MAN GUILTY OF A LESSER CHARGE IN THE ROBBERY AND SHOOTING DEATH OF A PINEY FLATS MAN. 32 YEAR OLD BRYAN KEITH GOOD WAS ORIGINALLY CHARGED WITH FELONY FIRST DEGREE MURDER IN THE 2005 SHOOTING DEATH OF 26 YEAR OLD MICHAEL MOTTERN, BUT A JURY FOUND HIM GUILTY YESTERDAY OF CRIMINALLY NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE. INVESTIGATORS SAID GOOD AND GREG NUTTER WENT TO MOTTERN’S HOME TO STEAL DRUGS AND CASH. MOTTERN CHASED THE TWO INTO A FIELD AND THAT’S WHEN GOOD ALLEGEDLY SHOT THE VICTIM IN THE CHEST WITH A 12-GAUGE SHOTGUN. NUTTER ENTERED A GUILTY PLEA MONDAY TO FACILITATION OF FELONY FIRST DEGREE MURDER, FACILICATION OF ATTEMPTED AGGRAVATED ROBBERY, AND TWO COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT IN EXCHANGE FOR AN 18 YEAR PRISON SENTENCE. GOOD FACES UP TO 37 YEARS WHEN HE’S SENTENCED AT A LATER DATE.
