IN A SURPRISE TURN OF EVENTS, A FEDERAL JUDGE HAS VACATED ALL SEVEN JURY CONVICTIONS OF A PENNINGTON GAP, VIRGINIA DENTIST FOR MONEY LAUNDERING. JAMES JONES, CHIEF JUDGE FOR THE WESTERN DISTRICT OF VIRGINIA, DID UPHOLD THREE CONVICTIONS OF ROY SHELBURNE FOR RACKETERRING, STRUCTURING A FINANCIAL TRANSACTION, AND DEFRAUDING MEDICAID. SHELBURNE IS TO BE SENTENCED FOR THE REMAINING THREE CONVICTIONS ON JULY 10TH.
