HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE IS COMING TO RUSSELL COUNTY VIRGINIA. THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE IS PROVIDING A 99 THOUSAND DOLLAR FEDERAL GRANT TO ESTABLISH THE SERVICE FOR BUSINESSES AND RESIDENTS IN THE COUNTY. THE FUNDING WILL BE USED TO PURCHASE WIRELESS EQUIPMENT FOR THE COMMUNITIES OF CASTLEWOOD, SAINT PAUL, HONAKER, HANSONVILLE, ROSEDALE, LEBANON, AND GREEN VALLEY. 9TH DISTRICT CONGRESSMAN RICK BOUCHER SAID WHEN THE EQUIPMENT IS INSTALLED, RESIDENTS OF RUSSELL COUNTY WILL BE ABLE TO CHOOSE FROM A RANGE OF AFFORDABLE OPTIONS FOR WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE.
