TWO MEN HAVE BEEN ARRESTED AND A QUANTITY OF COCAINE TAKEN OFF THE STREETS FOLLOWING A MULTI-AGENCY DRUG BUST IN ABINGDON VIRGINIA. ACCORDING TO WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF FRED NEWMAN, AUTHORITIES WENT TO A RESIDENCE ON WHITETOP VIEW ROAD WHERE THEY ARRESTED 31 YEAR OLD WAYNE CLARK OF ABINGDON AND 27 YEAR OLD FRANK MILANESE OF MARION. CLARK WAS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF POSSESSION WITHTHE INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE A SCHEDULE ONE OR TWO DRUG, AND SELL OR PROVIDE FOR RESALE A SCHEDULE ONE OR TWO DRUG. HE’S FREE AFTER POSTING BOND OF 5-THOUSAND DOLLARS. MEANWHILE, MILANESE WAS CHARGED WITH POSSESSION WITH THE INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE A SCHEDULE ONE OR TWO DRUG. HE IS FREE ON BOND OF 25-HUNDRED DOLLARS. POLICE SEIZED OVER 2-THOUSAND DOLLARS IN DRUGS AND CASH AT THE HOME. THE RUSSELL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AND ABINGDON POLICE DEPARTMENT ASSISTED IN THE DRUG BUST.
