A FORMER BRISTOL TENNESSEE YOUTH BASEBALL COACH ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING ONE OF HIS PLAYER’S SISTER HAS A TRIAL DATE SET IN SULLIVAN COUNTY CRIMINAL COURT. SCOTT HYATT IS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF RAPE FOR ALLEGEDLY FORCING HIMSELF ON THE GIRL WHEN SHE AND HER TWO BROTHERS CAME TO HIS HOME TO SWIM IN HIS POOL. THE GIRL REPORTEDLY TOLD HER FATHER WHAT HAPPENED AND HE CALLED POLICE. HYATT WAS A COACH FOR A TEAM FOR A LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION THAT NORMALLY CONDUCTS BACKGROUND CHECKS ON COACHES BUT FAILED TO DO SO WITH HYATT. HIS TRIAL DATE IS SET FOR NOVEMBER 17TH.
