A BRISTOL TENNESSEE DENTIST HAS HAD HIS LICENSE PLACED ON PROBATION AFTER SEVERAL VIOLATIONS. ACCORDING TO THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, DR. VINCENT TILLER IS ACCUSED OF ADVERTISING ON HIS WEB SITE THAT HE HAD SPECIAL CREDENTIALS AND FAILED TO MAINTAIN PATIENT RECORDS. TILLER ADMITS TO LISTING RECOGNITIONS ON THE WEBSITE, BUT REPORTEDLY SAID HE NEVER MEANT FOR THEM TO BE MISCONSTRUED AS SPECIALTIES. HE ALSO ADMITTED SOME PATIENT RECORDS WERE MISPLACED FOR A SHORT TIME WHILE RECORDS WERE BEING TRANSPOSED FROM HARD COPIES TO DIGITAL. TILLER, WHO’D BEEN IN PRACTICE 34 YEARS, SAID COSTS TO APPEAL THE DECISION WERE TOO HIGH AND THAT HE’D JUST MOVE ALONG. TILLER WAS ALSO FINED 35-HUNDRED DOLLARS IN CIVIL PENALTIES.
