A FIRE AT A BRISTOL VIRGINIA BUSINESS IS UNDER INVESTIGATION. FIREFIGHTERS WERE CALLED OUT TO A BLAZE AT THE U-STORE-IT MINI WAREHOUSES ON ISLAND ROAD YESTERDAY. TWO MEN HAD APPARENTLY IGNITED THE BLAZE WHILE WORKING ON A CAR ENGINE NEARBY. ONE OF THE MEN, 43 YEAR OLD RICHARD WRIGHT OF ABINGDON, SUFFERED BURNS TO HIS ARM AND WAS TAKEN TO BRISTOL REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER AND LATER RELEASED. THE IDENTITY OF THE OTHER MAN IS CURRENTLY UNKNOWN. THE BLAZE DESTROYED EIGHT STORAGE UNITS AND THEIR CONTENTS. THE VALUE OF THE DAMAGE IS ESTIMATED AT CLOSE TO NEARLY HALF-A-MILLION DOLLARS.
