THE FORMER HEAD OF A BRISTOL VIRGINIA CHARITY ACCUSED OF EMBEZZLING MONEY FROM A NEEDY CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS FUND HAS WAIVED HIS CASE TO A WASHINGTON COUNTY VIRGINIA GRAND JURY. 33 YEAR OLD JIMMIE CLARK OF WATAUGA TENNESSEE IS CHARGED WITH 10 COUNTS OF EMBEZZLEMENT. CLARK ALLEGEDLY TOOK 75-THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM THE SANTA PAL CHARITY DURING HIS TENURE AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND TREASURER. THE SANTA PAL ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A CHRISTMAS FUND FOR NEEDY CHILDREN. THE ALLEGED INCIDENTS DATE AS FAR BACK AS 2003. CLARK ALLEGEDLY CONFESSED IN WRITING TO HIS WRONG DOING IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR. HIS NEXT COURT APPEARANCE HAS NOT YET BEEN SCHEDULED.
