A JOHNSON CITY MAN ACCUSED OF HIS PART IN THE KILLING OF ANOTHER MAN HAS PLED GUILTY TO A LESSER CHARGE IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE CRIMINAL COURT. 25 YEAR OLD TIMOTHY HAMILTON WAS ORIGINALLY CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE MURDER BUT PLED GUILTY YESTERDAY TO VOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER IN THE DEATH OF ALEJHANDRO VICTOR GONZALES IN 2006. HAMILTON WAS SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS IN PRISON. HIS CO-DEFENDANT, LELAND NAPIER PLED GUILTY EARLIER THIS WEEK AND WAS SENTENCED TO 26 YEARS IN PRISON. THE TWO TOLD POLICE THEY WERE ANGRY OVER GONZALES BEATING HAMILTON’S MOTHER.
