ONE OF THE TWO MEN ACCUSED OF KILLING A JOHNSON CITY MAN NEARLY TWO YEARS AGO WILL APPEAR IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE CRIMINAL COURT TODAY FOR A PLEA HEARING. T.J. HAMILTON AND HIS COUSIN, LELAND NAPIER, WERE CHARGED WITH FRIST-DEGREE MURDER IN THE SEPTEMBER 2006 KILLING OF ALEJANDRO VICTOR GONZALES. NAPIER PLED GUILTY EARLIER THIS WEEK TO SECOND DEGREE MURDER AND POSSESSING COCAINE. HE IS SERVING 15 YEARS IN PRISON WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE. HAMILTON HAS REPORTEDLY BEEN OFFERED A PLEA DEAL BUT ITS UNCLEAR IF HE WILL TAKE IT.
