A JONESBOROUGH MAN ACCUSED OF DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED IN THE VEHICULAR DEATH OF A PEDESTRIAN IS SCHEDULED TO GO TO TRIAL THIS SUMMER. 57 YEAR OLD DAVID LEE WILCOX IS CHARGED WITH ENHANCED VEHICULAR HOMICIDE IN THE DECEMBER 14TH INCIDENT THAT CLAIMED THE LIFE OF DAVID HUDSON. HUDSON WAS WALKING ACROSS EAST STATE OF FRANKLIN ROAD WHEN WILCOX ALLEGEDLY STRUCK HIM. THE ENHANCED CHARGE IS THE RESULT OF WILCOX HAVING FOUR PREVIOUS DUI CONVICTIONS AS FAR BACK AS 1989. IF CONVICTED, WILCOX FACES UP TO 25 YEARS IN PRISON. HE’S SCHEDULED TO GO TO TRIAL IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE CRIMINAL COURT JULY 29TH.
