Five Washington County teenagers must serve 15 years on probation and pay $105,500 in restitution to the owners of properties they set on fire. Jordan Beckett, Spencer Nelson, Samuel Mousolf and Dustin Shaw, all 19 years old, and Cory Carnella, who is 18, signed a payment agreement on Wednesday, the same day they were sentenced to probation. They were arrested in October in connection with a string of fires that had been set over seven months. Investigators believe the teens worked together to light the fires and then just watched the structures burn. The more than $100,000 the teens must pay is well below the cost of the actual property losses, but prosecutors agreed to the amount. If any of the five violate their probations, they could serve three to six years in prison.
