THE MANAGER OF A TRI CITIES CONVENIENCE MARKET HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOLLOWING AN INVESTIGATION INTO MISSING MONEY AT THE STORE WHERE HE WORKED. ELIZABETHTON POLICE SAY OFFICIALS DISCOVERED MONEY HAD BEEN MISSING FROM DEPOSITS AT THE QUICK STOP MARKET NUMBER 20 ON WEST ELK AVENUE. AN INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE STORE MANAGER, LINDSAY SCOTT, ALLEGEDLY TOOK CASH FROM THE STORE DEPOSITS OVER A PERIOD OF APPROXIMATELY SIX MONTHS. POLICE ALLEGE SCOTT WOULD ROLL OVER MONEY FROM THE CURRENT DAYS PROCEEDS TO COVER THE PREVIOUS DAY’S DEPOSITS. HE’S CHARGED WITH THEFT OVER ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND WILL APPEAR IN GENERAL SESSIONS COURT ON JUNE 13TH.
