A memorial service for gospel great Dottie Rambo, who died in a tour bus crash Sunday near Springfield, Mo., will be held next week in Nashville. The service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Christ Church. Visitations are 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Both the memorial service and the visitation are open to the public. The burial is private and will follow the memorial service. The 74-year-old Rambo is a member of the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. She has had more than 2,500 published songs, including gospel classics like “He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need.”
