AN AUGUST PLEA DATE HAS BEEN SET FOR A KNOXVILLE TEENAGER ACCUSED IN A SHOOTING INCIDENT LAST DECEMBER IN JOHNSON CITY. 18 YEAR OLD VINCENT MARTEZ BROWN IS CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED SECOND DEGREE MURDER AND 16 COUNTS OF RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT. BROWN IS ACCUSED IN A SHOOTING AT VITO’S ITALIAN CONNECTION ON NORTH ROAN STREET. AUTHORITIES SAID BROWN’S GIRLFRIEND AND ANOTHER WOMAN GOT INTO AN ALTERCATION WHICH LED TO BROWN ALLEGEDLY SHOOTING THE WOMAN’S BOYFRIEND, CLARENCE BENSON, TWICE. BROWN WILL BE BACK IN COURT ON AUGUST 1ST.
