A BRISTOL TENNESSEE PILOT AND HIS PASSENGER ARE SAFE TODAY AFTER HAVING TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY LANDING OVER THE WEEKEND AT AN AIRPORT IN FLORIDA. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AT ST. AUGUSTINE AIRPORT WHEN ONLY ONE WHEEL WOULD COME DOWN, FORCING 49 YEAR OLD TIMOTHY COX TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT WITH JUST ONE WHEEL. COX WAS ONLY SLIGHTLY INJURED WHILE THE PASSENGER WAS NOT INJURED AT ALL. OFFICIALS SAID THE PROBLEM WAS SIMPLY A MALFUNCTION WITH THE AIRPLANE.
