AN ARRAIGNMENT DATE HAS BEEN SET FOR A ROGERSVILLE TEEN ACCUSED OF CAUSING A CRASH TWO YEARS AGO THAT CLAIMED THE LIFE OF HIS PASSENGER. THE TEEN, WHO’S NAME IS BEING WITHHELD BECAUSE HE WAS A MINOR WHEN IT HAPPENED, IS CHARGED WITH VEHICULAR HOMICIDE. HE’S ACCUSED OF CRASHING HIS VEHICLE IN JULY 2006 ON ROUTE 66 NORTH OF BULLS GAP. ACCORDING TO THE TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL, THE DRIVER WAS ALLEGEDLY TRAVELING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF HIS CAR ON A CURVE, RAN OF THE ROADWAY, AND STRUCK A TREE. HIS PASSENGER, 20 YEAR OLD KENNETH BRADY WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE. THE TEENAGER IS SCHEDULED TO BE ARRAIGNED IN HAWKINS COUNTY JUVENILE COURT ON APRIL 21ST.
