THREE DICKENSON COUNTY VIRGINIA MEN HAVE BEEN SENTENCED IN U.S. DISTRICT COURT IN BIG STONE GAP FOR STEALING EQUIPMENT FROM RECREATION AREAS ON U.S. FOREST SERVICE PROPERTY. ACCORDING TO U.S. ATTORNEY JOHN BROWNLEE, 44 YEAR OLD GARY DON ROSE, 24 YEAR OLD JASON NEAL PUCKETT, AND 45 YEAR OLD ROBERT KEVIN GOUGE, ALL OF COEBURN PLED GUILTY TO CONSPIRACY AND THEFT OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY AFTER STEALING EQUIPMENT FROM THE FOREST SERVICE WORK CENTER AND CANE PATCH RECREATION AREA IN WISE COUNTY. ROSE WAS SENTENCED TO 30 MONTHS IN PRISON, PUCKETT RECEIVED A 12 MONTH SENTENCE, AND GOUGE WILL SPEND SIX MONTH IN PRISON. IN ADDITION, ALL THREE HAVE BEEN ORDERED TO PAY RESTITUTION OF 27-HUNDRED DOLLARS.
