Two Ballad Health Urgent Care Centers Will Close This Week. The Colonial Heights Location On Fort Henry Drive And The Elizabethton Center On West Elk Avenue Will Shut Down On May 3rd. Ballad Health Officials Said They Are Constantly Evaluating Patient Volumes. The Health System Indicates Alternative Urgent Care Options Exist In Both Communities. Ballad Is Working With Affected Employees To Find New Positions Within The Organization. The Company Will Continue To Operate 11 Other Urgent Care Facilities Across The Region Along With Virtual Urgent Care Services.
