ETSU Is Using State Grant Funding To Help Build The Addiction Recovery Workforce In Northeast Tennessee. The University Is Now Offering Scholarships In Social Work, Counseling, And Psychiatric Nursing Through A Four Million Dollar Award From The Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council. The Scholarships Are Open To Local Students Who Agree To Work In The Region For One Year After Graduation. Officials Say The Goal Is To Fill Gaps In Mental Health And Recovery Services Across Ten Counties. The Deadline To Apply Is August First.
