An Off-Duty Erwin Police Officer Was Injured While Responding To A Fire That Damaged Two Mobile Homes And A Church. The Fire Started Wednesday Afternoon On West Park Street And Spread To A Neighboring Mobile Home And The West Park Street Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The Officer Was Taken To A Local Hospital For Treatment. The Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation And The Unicoi County Sheriff’s Office Are Investigating. Foul Play Is Not Suspected.
