Unemployment Rates Dropped In 23 Tennessee Counties For The Month Of December, According To The Tennessee Department Of Labor And Workforce Development. Rates Decreased In More Than 20 Counties Compared To November. All But Five Counties Recorded Unemployment Rates Below 5%, With The Highest At 5.9% In Unicoi County. Moore County Had The Lowest Unemployment Rate At 2.5%, While Williamson County Followed With 2.6%. Sevier County Reported A Rate Of 2.7%, An Increase From The Previous Month. Unicoi County Had The Highest Rate At 5.9%. The State’s Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate Was 3.6%, Still Below The National Rate Of 4.1%.
