The Investigation Revealed That Family Dollar Stores In Tennessee Sold Goods Stored In A Rodent-Infested Distribution Center In West Memphis, Arkansas. Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti Stated, “No Tennessean Should Wonder If Their Food Is Safe.” Family Dollar Has Agreed To Pay The State $1.125 Million As Part Of The Settlement. This Follows A 2024 Plea Agreement Where The Company Paid $41.675 Million In Penalties For Causing Adulterated Food To Reach Consumers.
