Virginia State Police Are Investigating A Crash Involving A Smyth County School Bus And A Jeep Compass Wednesday Morning On Walkers Creek Road Just Before 9:30 A.M. The Five Children On The Bus And The Driver Were Uninjured, But The Driver Of The Jeep Was Taken To The Hospital With Non-Life-Threatening Injuries. The Bus Was Headed To Oak Point Elementary School. The Crash Remains Under Investigation And Charges Are Pending.
