Virginia State Police Are Investigating A Fatal Crash That Occurred Sunday On Loves Mill Road In Smyth County. A 2021 Gmc Canyon Left The Road Near Route 107 And Hit A Tree. The Driver, 68-Year-Old Timmie J. Stokes Of Chilhowie, Suffered Serious Injuries And Died Monday. Stokes Was Wearing A Seatbelt At The Time Of The Crash, Which Remains Under Investigation.
