The Tennessee Supreme Court Has Denied An Appeal From 45-Year-Old Karen Renae Howell, One Of Six People Convicted In The 1997 Lillelid Murders In Greene County. Howell And Five Others Were Found Guilty Of Killing Vidar And Delfina Lillelid And Their Six-Year-Old Daughter Tabitha. The Family Was Abducted From An I-81 Rest Area And Shot On Payne Hollow Lane. Two-Year-Old Son Peter Survived The Attack. In 1998, All Six Defendants Received Three Consecutive Life Sentences Without Parole, Plus 25 Years.
