The U.S. Forest Service Has Reopened More Areas Of The Cherokee National Forest After Flooding From Hurricane Helene. Starting Today, Visitors Can Access Bumpass Cove, Rich Mountain, And Dark Hollow In Unicoi County, Along With Parts Of The Watauga Ranger District. However, The Jackson Farm Area Remains Closed For Ongoing Recovery Missions, And Some Campgrounds Will Stay Closed For The Season.
