The Appalachia Service Project, A Local Organization Rebuilding Homes After Hurricane Helene Flooding, Just Received A $10 Million Grant From The Appalachian Regional Commission. This Funding Will Help Asp Establish Three Regional Hubs Over The Next Five Years To Strengthen Disaster Recovery And Home Repair Services In Central Appalachia. Locations Include Johnson City And Jonesville, With A Third Site Planned For Eastern Kentucky. Asp President Melisa Winburn Said This Investment Will Provide Long-Term Support To Build Safer, More Resilient Communities.
