A Federal Judge In Alexandria Has Issued An Injunction To Restore Over 1,600 Voter Registrations In Virginia, Following Their Removal Weeks Before The November 5th General Election. The Voters’ Registrations Were Canceled By Governor Glenn Youngkin’s Administration, Which Claimed The Individuals Were Non-U.S. Citizens. However, The Court Found Many Of Those Removed Were Eligible Voters. Youngkin Says His Administration Will Appeal The Ruling. The U.S. Department Of Justice Sued The State In October, Arguing The Removal Violated Federal Law By Taking Place Within 90 Days Of An Election. The League Of Women Voters Is Working To Help Re-Enroll Affected Voters.
