HURRICANE HELENE CAUSED $159.3 MILLION IN AGRICULTURAL DAMAGE IN VIRGINIA, AS ASSESSED BY THE VIRGINIA COOPERATIVE EXTENSION AND DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY. GRAYSON COUNTY SUSTAINED THE MOST DAMAGE AT $61 MILLION, FOLLOWED BY WYTHE, SMYTH, WASHINGTON, AND CARROLL COUNTIES.
