East Tennessee State University Students Are Sending ‘Letters Of Love’ To First Responders And Hurricane Survivors In Our Region. Led By ETSU Social Work Major Shaina Thompson, The Student Group Set Up Outside The D.P. Culp Student Center And Collected Over Eleven-Hundred Notes Of Support. These Letters Are Now Being Delivered To First Responders And Shelters In Carter, Johnson, Washington, Unicoi, Greene, And Cocke Counties. The Community Has Already Felt The Impact, With Many First Responders Expressing Renewed Hope And Purpose. Students And Community Members Can Nominate Someone In Need Of Kind Words Through The Organization’s Instagram Page @Lettersofloveetsu.
