Over 100 Engineers From The Tennessee Army And Air National Guard Are Assisting With Flood Recovery Operations In Carter, Cocke, Greene, Unicoi, And Washington Counties After Hurricane Helene. Using Heavy Equipment Like Bulldozers And Dump Trucks, They Are Clearing Debris From Roads And Public Areas To Improve Access For Emergency Services. The Engineers Are Part Of A Joint Task Force Working With Local Authorities, Coordinated Through TEMA. These Volunteers Are Committed To Staying As Long As Needed To Restore Safety To The Region.
