Jonesborough’s Water Utility Crew Has Located The Water Line Under The Nolichucky River To Highway 107, And It Remains Intact. Crews Are Currently Repairing Minor Damage Caused By The Hurricane. Water Service Is Expected To Be Restored By This Evening To Highway 107, All Connecting Roads, And 81 South From Taylor Bridge Toward Erwin, Including Bumpus Cove And Little Germany. A Boil Water Advisory Will Remain In Effect For 48 Hours After Service Is Restored. Residents Should Boil Water For Three Minutes Before Consuming It, As Required By TDEC.
