The Johnson City Farmers Market Is Offering Extra Spots For Vendors Affected By The Cancellations Of The Apple Festival And Storytelling Festival. Both Events Were Canceled Due To Damage From Hurricane Helene. Farmers Market President Heathery Shipley Says They’re Reaching Out To Help Local Farmers And Artisans Impacted By The Cancellations. There’s A Suggested $5 Donation For Rent, And Space Is Limited. The Farmers Market Is Also Holding A Flood Bucket Drive To Help Those Hardest Hit By The Storm. They’re Asking For Cleaning Supplies Like Heavy-Duty Trash Bags, Laundry Soap, And Gloves. Donations Can Be Dropped Off This Saturday From 8 A.M. To 1 P.M. At The Pavilion At Founders Park In Downtown Johnson City.
