The Virginia Department Of Emergency Management Has Opened A Volunteer, Donation, And Resource Center In The Town Of Damascus To Aid Flood Victims. The Center Is Located At 744 North Beaver Dam Avenue, Across From Food City, And Will Operate Monday Through Friday From 10 A.M. To 5 P.M. The Center, In Partnership With The United Way Of Southwest Virginia, Will Connect Residents With Case Managers, Coordinate Volunteers, And Accept Donations. Currently, Cleaning Supplies And Pet Food Are In High Demand. Monetary Donations Can Be Made To The 2024 Southwest Virginia Disaster Relief Fund.
