Kingsport School Leaders Want To Bring Two New Elementary Schools And A New Middle School To The Model City. The Two Elementary Schools Would Have 750 Students Each, And The Middle School Would Be For The D-B Excel Program And Would Add 150 Students. The Plan For The Elementary Schools Is To Have A New School Built In The Lynn Garden Community And To Convert A Portion Of The Former North High School Into A Second School By August 2028. Additional Planning Still Needs To Be Done Before Any Work Could Progress On Any Of These Projects.
